| دانشگاه کا پ ای ( مورد ارزشیابی می باشد) این دانشگاه معروف ترین دانشگاه فنی و مهندسی کشور اوکراین می باشد که بیش از 100 سال قدمت دارد. بنیانگذاری این دانشگاه در سال 1880 میلادی آغاز شد و تا به حال بسیاری از بزرگان علم و دانش شوروی سابق، جهان و اوکراین در این دانشگاه تربیت شده اند. در ابتدای آغاز به فعالیت این دانشگاه که به سال 1898 میلادی باز می گردد 4 دانشکده شیمی، کشاورزی، مکانیک و معماری به تربیت متخصصین مشغول شده و نخستین فارغ التحصیلان این دانشگاه مدارک تحصیلی خود را در سال 1903 دریافت نمودند. شایان ذکر می باشد که ریاست اولین کمیسیون ارزیابی (برد امتحانی) این دانشگاه را شیمیدان معروف دمیتری مندلیوف بر عهده داشته که از سطح علمی و دانش بالای دانشجویان این دانشگاه بسیار متحیر شده بود.
در حال حاضر این دانشگاه دارای 21 دانشکده، 9 انستیتو علمی-تحقیقاتی، 12 انستیتو تحقیقاتی و 13 مرکز علمی مختلف می باشد و انواع علوم فنی، مهندسی و علوم انسانی به 3 زبان روسی، انگلیسی و اوکراینی در آن تدریس می شوند.
کادر علمی این دانشگاه شامل 58 آکادمیست آکادمی ملی علوم اوکراین، 2000 پروفسور، دستیار پروفسور و همکاران دیگر می شود. تعداد 41.700 دانشجو شاغل به تحصیل و فراگیری علم بوده که از این تعداد 1500 نفر دانشجوی خارجی از 50 کشور مختلف جهان می باشند. در داخل محوطه دانشگاه کلینیک درمانی، مجموعه ورزشی، و مراکز مختلف هنری-فرهنگی واقع شده اند. این دانشگاه تنها دانشگاهی است که در اوکراین دارای پارک علمی است و از سوی مجلس اوکراین عنوان انستیتوی تحقیقاتی دریافت نموده است. از دیگر افتخارات این دانشگاه عضویت در شورای دانشگاه های اروپایی به عنوان نخستین دانشگاه کشور اوکراین (در سال 2003 – Magna Charta” Universitatum)“می باشد. تحصیلات در دوره کارشناسی 4 سال، کارشناسی ارشد 2 سال بوده و پس از آن امکان ادامه تحصیل در مقاطع بالاتر نیز وجود دارد( کاندیدای علوم 3 سال، دکترای علوم 3 سال). محل اقامت و اسکان دانشجویان خارجی و شهرستانی این دانشگاه را 22 خوابگاه تامین می نمایند. از لحاظ روابط بین الملل این دانشگاه در سطح بالایی قرار داشته به طوری که با 101 دانشگاه فنی – مهندسی از 38 کشور مختلف دنیا و همچنین با بسیاری از سازمان ها و شرکت های معتبر بین المللی مانند EC, CU, UNDP, UNESCO, UNIDO, WIPO, NATO, EDNES, ICSU, CODATA, MOTOROLA, SIEMENS, FESTO, SAMSUNG, INTEL و غیره همکاری های مشترک دارد. دانشکده ها
